Hi guys, welcome to Treasure Finds. Discovering treasures worth sharing.

Today's treasure is a sticky note app. If you're a busy professional, sometimes you may forget certain things that you need to remember. And that's where a sticky note app comes in handy. You just need to stick reminders on your phone via the app.

P/s: I'm using sticky notes + widget. I find it very useful.

Hi guys, welcome to Treasure Finds. Discovering treasures worth sharing.

Today's treasure is this: How not to let your Android phone kill your VPN.

If you’re using a VPN and an Android phone like me, then this one is for you.

If you don't want your android phone to kill your VPN app to save battery, you can look for the recent apps button (3 lines) at the bottom of your phone. Tap it, and it will show you all your recent apps. Just look for the VPN you want to lock, and then tap on the drop-down menu (arrow). Choose the lock icon.

P/s: (1) The recent apps button isn't available on all android phones. (2) If you can't find your VPN in recent apps, just open it and then close it. You'll be able to see it in recent apps now. (3) Locking an app uses more battery. (4) When Android kills your VPN, your internet connection drops. That means the websites you visit, and the apps on your phone that use the internet can be exposed until the VPN reconnects.

Hi guys, welcome to Treasure Finds. Discovering treasures worth sharing.

Today's treasure is this: multi-hop VPN.

If you're someone who values your privacy when using your device, then having a multi-hop VPN is useful because it routes all your internet traffic through at least 2 servers, so no single server knows both your IP address and what you're doing on your device.

Btw, I've been using protonvpn for years and I find it reliable so far. It has a no-logs policy, which enhances pri

vacy.

Today's treasure is this: How to use the volume up/down buttons on your phone to take photos/videos.

First, you need to open the camera app. Then choose either photo or video before pressing the volume up/down button to take a photo/video. For taking photos, you just need to press once and then release your finger (unless you want to take burst photos). For taking videos, you have to press the volume up/down button once to start and then press one more time to stop.

It's useful if you tend to have shaky hands when taking photos/videos, which may lead to blurry photos/videos.

Hi guys, welcome to Treasure Finds. Discovering treasures worth sharing.

Today's treasure is laughter. Laughter is  medicine for the soul, and there's real value in a genuine laugh. A silly moment or a funny video that makes us laugh can completely change the mood of our day.

Sometimes the treasures that we aren't looking for are the ones that we need most.
